Timber Wolf Lodge is a great place to explore Minnesota’s famous Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Your closest neighbor are a stand of mature whispering pine trees. The kitchen and bath in Cabin 5 have not yet been remodeled, but the entire cabin has been refurnished.
Sleeping arrangement: Cabin 5 has a queen size Sleep Number Bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on top.

This was our first trip to the beautiful Northern Minnesota and did not know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We decided to take our extend family that included our children, married children and grand children. We were in Cabin 5 which apparently is the largest cabin. We cooked most of our meals at the cabin. Wayne E
Summer of 2014...First time camping at Timber Wolf Lodge and definitely will be returning! The staff was VERY accommodating, pleasant and always had a smile for you. The lake is gorgeous, loved all the pink granite. Great swimming beach Scot J
Timber Wolf Lodge is truly a paradise! We have spent 8 summers at TWL and every year that we return for our vacation, it is better than the previous one! The beach is private with a bouncer for the kids to enjoy. Almost every day, you watch an eagle family fly over as you lounged at the beach. Kim G
Very relaxing. Super nice and helpful staff. Comfortable and homey. Oh, and we had good small mouth bass fishing. Came home with 6 pounds of fillets. Firewood was supplied. Nice wood fired sauna. Nice swimming beach with super comfy zero gravity chairs. Excellent view of the sunset. Travis C
