Welcome to your spacious 3 story log vacation home. Larger groups up to 13 will find the open floor plan and mix of antique accents with modern amenities throughout a real treat.
Inside amenities include a fully stocked colonial style kitchen, including Viking gas range, built in refrigerator, dishwasher; dining room table for 8; comfortable leather furniture. Outside is full of surprises too: Walk out big porch with custom slate tile and patio furniture and fire up the gas BBQ grill (propane provided).
Sleeping arrangement: Master bedroom is on the main level with king-sized bed; second bedroom is on the lower level with queen bed; third bedroom is also on the lower level with queen bed, twin bunk bed, plus additional twin; the fourth bedroom is a loft (open to main floor) with 2 twins and queen-sized sofa sleeper.
The Great room features large wood burning field stone fireplace and open floor plan. There’s plenty of room for your group - the large lower level has an entertainment room with a custom built pool table and large wood burning fireplace.
Unique location too! The Eagles Nest Lodge is adjacent to the Bear Head State Park, located mid-way between Tower and Ely. Nearby are popular Ely attractions like the International Wolf Center; North American Bear Center; The Dorothy Molter Museum; Soudan Underground Mine State Park (guided tour will take you 2,341 feet down and more than 100 years into our past).
Though the inside of the lodge is amazing, one of the favorite places to hangout with family and friends is around the fire ring just outside cabin. A few more steps and you’re on the large private dock w/bench. Relax and enjoy over 1000 acres of lake view!
Fishermen, there are no motor restrictions and the lake is nearly 50’ deep. These fish come in great numbers: Smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, perch, bluegills, and crappies. Those evenings around the fire pit are much better when fish is frying over the open flame. Bringing your boat? There is a public boat launch located on the NW end of the lake.
You’ve come this far, so exploring some of the BWCAW is a must. 1 million acres of pristine forests and 1500 miles of canoe routes. Since you book directly with us, we can help you plan day trips or overnight trips. Live like the Native American residents, Voyageurs, and trappers did in past centuries!
