We know you’ll enjoy staying at this hand built log cabin! Inside is a Great room with beautiful vaulted ceilings, dining room table that seats 6, and a fully-stocked kitchen. Stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, small electrical appliances, fully-equipped with dinnerware and cookware. Dishwashing soap, garbage bags, kitchen towels and pot holders.
Outside, the large deck (with patio furniture) overlooks a large yard (for yard games) and large all-sports lake (3429 acres, no motor restrictions). Prepare meals inside or stay in the sun and cook on the Charcoal grill. Gathering around the outdoor fire pit is a favorite guest-tradition - it’s the best way to end a busy day!
Sleeping arrangement: 2 Bedrooms: Master bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with queen size bed and twin bed. (Plus twin bed in great room.)
Located in a quiet bay on White Iron Lake. You have your own private dock and watercraft rentals are available if you decide not to bring your boat. Don’t leave your dog behind though, we are pet friendly. The main cabin next door is minimally used by the owners, so you’ll have lots of privacy.
A Wii game is available for rainy day entertainment. Want to bring a larger group/multiple families? Ely Lodging has additional cabins in same bay! Inquire about renting multiple cabins. Kids and adults will all have things to do - take tours, go golfing, try your luck at area casinos. The festivals and fairs go on year round.
The White Iron Hideaway's location is great for canoeing or kayaking because it is next to the Bear Island River inlet on White Iron Lake. Bring your fishing gear too - there is a nice population of walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, and pan fish.

In fact from our dock you have access to the Boundary Waters: White Iron Lake is part of a chain including Farm, South Farm, and Garden Lakes which has direct access to the BWCAW and its 1 million acres of lush forests and 1500 miles of pure wilderness canoe routes.

Leslie, Washington - We spent a wonderful week watching the fall colors and the deer. The pictures do not do the home justice! The home was clean and very comfortable and cozy. The owner was very helpful and someone was always available if we had a question. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
