Not many cabins have a beautiful southern exposure, an open yard that gently slopes to the lakefront, and a sandy beach swimming area. Tranquility Shores does! And for those crisp spring and fall mornings and romantic evenings, the wood burning fireplace will keep your spirits warm.
Do you have different age groups who want their own space inside? This cabin has a living room and dining room connected - perfect for open house too. The kitchen includes refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and small electric appliances. Dish washing soap, garbage bags, kitchen towels and pot holders provided.
Sleeping arrangement: Master bedroom on main floor offers a king bed with its own bathroom connected. Guest bedroom: 1 full bed, with a single twin. Main bathroom offers shower with full tub.
Bring your own boat and launch it at our on-property launch. Our walk out patio has a bbq grill, and down by the water the private dock and free canoe are waiting for you. All ages love to use the Sauna with electric stove! Kids love running from the sauna to the refreshing lake, then back to the Sauna.
Tranquility Shores is close to area skiing and snowmobiling trails. You can cross country ski right from the cabin too! With Ely, MN on 15 minutes away, there are plenty of unique adventures to consider: North American Bear Center, International Wolf Center, The Dorothy Molter Museum, Ely Golf Club (along the shores of the magnificent Lake Vermilion).
Be unhurried. Your carefree days will start with a beautiful lake view from the deck and end with family and friends hanging out by the lake and patio fireplace. The A large deck is right in front of the shoreline of Eagles Nest #1. The Lake is connected by a 75' channel to Eagles Nest #2 and combined equals nearly 750 acres of fish-able water with no motor restrictions. What’s for dinner? Smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, perch, bluegills, and crappies.
Festivals and Boundary Waters! Experience the Blueberry Arts Festival, Harvest Moon Festival, or 4th of July in Ely one day, and the solitude of the BWCAW the next day! Just grab the canoes and paddles - spend a peaceful day paddling the famed Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Do a little fishing, or just find a special spot on the shoreline for a nice picnic lunch.
