Step outside to the attached deck that overlooks the gazebo and pool area.

Not many cabins come with a seasonal, enclosed in-ground heated pool connected by cedar walkway and outdoor deck! This one does! Note: pool closes labor day weekend. Our modern home features over 2100 square ft. of living space with an open floor plan. Maple Leaf Lodge is just 15 miles from Ely! Visit the International Wolf Center, North American Bear Center, The Dorothy Molter Museum and Soudan Underground Mine State Park.
Not many cabins are in the famed Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness either. This one is! Lush forests intersected by 1500 miles of canoe routes. Not much ha changed much since the early Native Americans, voyageurs and hardy hunters floated these waters centuries ago.
Cook inside or outside. Our covered porch has a large gas grill and propane is provided. Follow the steps down the level lot to the lake and enjoy the large fire ring, 2 private docks, and the free canoe (inquire about additional watercraft rental available). Nearby rugged natural paths for mountain biking offer a Northwoods adventure you won’t want to miss. Easier hiking opportunities are found throughout the Ely area. We are local experts who want you to live like a local - just tell us what you like to do!
Year around MN vacation destination! The large private master bath with Jacuzzi tub will come in handy after a day of ...Dog Sledding - Ely, MN has the most dog sledding providers than anywhere else in the world, so you have to try it. For an exciting winter hiking adventure, strap on the snowshoes and go - right from the lodge.
