Cabin #4 is 667 square feet on a lakeside campground in Minnesota. This lodge is truly at the best location, as you have endless recreational activities right on the campsite. You have everything from a community game room that includes foosball and ping pong, to a sandy beach with a sectioned-off swimming area. After a day of outdoor games at the campsite, you can venture out into town to catch a bite to eat and watch a show!
In the main room of the vacation rental, there is a living room, dining area, and a full kitchen. The living room includes 2 futons, which allows the cabin to fit a total of 8 people. Additionally, the living room has a recliner, a coffee table, and a convenient corner table decorated with a quaint lamp. The dining room is completed with a dark mahogany, oval table placed right along the large window, looking out onto the lake. Finally the whole space is kept cool with a mini-split HVAC unit.
Within this intimate, lakeside cottage you can find 2 single bedrooms equipped with queen-sized beds; wooden dressers with warm-lighting lamps on top; antique corner chairs; and curtained windows on each side of the wall.
This northern, getaway experience is truly unique due to all the outdoors space has to offer. Right at the front of the home, there is a wide open, 12.5ft x 16.5ft balcony. This patio space not only comes with a large over-head lamp for the night-time, but a sun-umbrella to shade guests while seated during those hot summer days. The front yard is so spacious that it provides much room for games like spike ball, bocce ball, croquet - you name it! Finally, there is a large, sandy fire pit to gather around at night and enjoy some quality time with family and friends.
This cabin is right near the town of Fergus Falls, you will never get bored. The downtown area of Fergus Falls not only provides you with endless opportunities to go shopping and dine-in at the best local food spots, but it also has a variety of entertainment venues for a night-out.
For those music enthusiasts, you may want to consider visiting Outstate Brewery where you can hear live music. However, if you are the more competitive type, and looking for the chance to win some prizes, then we recommend stopping by the American Legion Post #30 for bingo, or the Socials Bar & Grill for trivia.

Last minute camper rental turned into an amazing find. So friendly and the grounds are beautiful!!!! Perfect for kids of all ages. The camp sites are well maintained, cabins look amazing! There is so much to do…great playground, game room (pool table, ping pong, board games, books, outdoor toys), volleyball, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and more!! The sandy beach is clean and great for swimming. Tons of sand toys! I seriously just keep telling my mom how awesome this place is. They have a 1/2 mile wilderness trail with exercise stops along the way. It was a fun way to start our morning. Office with a little store attached is perfect for a special treat or if you forgot something. We will definitely be back! Sarah Beckmann

Swan Lake Resort & Campground is a family-owned operation that began in 1949. Originally known as John’s Landing, it emerged in response to locals looking to launch their boats into Swan Lake and camp in Farmer John’s nearby field. Over the years and with immense care, it grew into a Minnesota lakeside oasis. Although the resort has changed hands several times, it remains a beautiful haven for travelers passing through and the local community.
The resort & campground is the only commercial operation on recreational Swan Lake in Otter Tail County and is located a few miles south of Fergus Falls, MN. On 17 acres of land, 6 of which are natural woodlands, and has over 780 ft of lakeshore frontage that includes a sandy swimming beach.
