Welcome to Bay Lake Townhome! This two story vacation home is located on beautiful Bay Lake just two hours north of the Twin Cities, and is a perfect spot to have the prime getaway you desire! With a beautiful view of the lake right from your backdoor we highly encourage sitting out on the back lawn or on the enclosed porch with a nice cup of hot tea to enjoy the sunset. There are so many fun lake activities that are available, from floating on the lily pad, riding the waves on the provided tubes, or just cruising the lake with a stop at Ruttgers for an ice cream cone. A pontoon boat is available for rent during your stay, but if you have your own boat, a public dock is available right next door with boat parking on the property. Not to fret, we have life vests available for safety too!

The main level of this townhome has a full kitchen where you can prepare all of your meals with all the bells and whistles included, including a bar-b-q grill. Once you've got the feast prepared enjoy it with your loved ones in the dining space available or even out on the enclosed sun porch that overlooks the lake! After filling your bellies with the meal, relax indoors at Bay Lake Townhomes’ living room space that offers WiFi and cable for your pleasure.

Sleeping arrangements at Bay Lake Townhome include 4 bedrooms on the upper level and will sleep 10 people comfortably. We have one king bed with a small deck attached, two bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with a full bed and bunk beds. There are two full bathrooms; one upstairs and one downstairs. A washer and drying are provided in the home as well to assure convenient comfort.

Unique Features

Here at Bay Lake Townhome you can ride the boat over on the lake to have dinner at the Lonesome Pine! Or prepare your own meal with our full kitchen and bar-b-q grill located on site. To work off some energy, preparing you for all this delicious food, this complex also offers a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis court, volleyball court and a horseshoe pit! Parking is available throughout the complex.
Just one mile away is Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort (www.Ruttgers.com) which offers Auntie Em's coffee and ice cream store, shops, golf and restaurants.

Things To Do

There is an abundance of activities available in the Bay Lake area, for both kids and adults. Cruise around or go catch a walleye on Lake Mille Lacs, just 10 minutes away. And of course, Grand Casino is just 20 minutes down the road.
Paul Bunyan Land, just 15 minutes away, is a must stop for the young kids.
Head 15 minutes in the other direction to Crosby, Minnesota, the gateway to the Cuyuna Recreational area (www.cuyuna.com) with biking, hiking and water activities available. Canoes and biking equipment rental is available in Crosby.
For family fun, you will definitely want to consider the two hour drive to Itasca State Park, the headwater of the Mississippi River, and step from one side to the other of the mighty river.
For the golf enthusiast, Ruttgers Resort offers an 18-hole and 9-hole course, and just 40 minutes away in the Brainerd Lakes area are some of Minnesoata's prermier championship courses.

When you finish exploring the Cuyuna area and you all start to get hungry whether for food or the desire to scope out local boutiques then head into the city of Crosby! Looking for some good pizza? Head on over to Rafferty’s for a thick slice or a whole pie to share with all! What about a place to grab a pint while eating your dinner? You will want to stop by Iron Range Eatery, Maucieri’s Italian Bistro Bar & Deli or Croft Pub & Grub. While Crosby offers so much more in these genres to explore, we promise that whatever you choose to delve into you will most certainly enjoy!

About the Owner/Manager

This Townhome is owned by Jim Hartman, Plymouth, MN. All of the 30 townhome units in the complex are individually and privately owned. The Hartman family has been coming to the Lake regularly since 2007.
