Looking for a comfortable cabin with easy lake level access? Cabin 10 is close to the playground and provides privacy - Enjoy your own deck, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, charcoal grill, private fire pit and easy access to the lake - 120 yards from the beach. Little ones find splashing in the lake easy because of our gradual 200 ft. sandy swimming beach. Chaise loungers line our beach and take a nap in the hammock by the lake! You’re here to relax and enjoy the lake.
Between mid-June and mid August, you can book a “week,” checking in after 9 am on Saturday and checking out the following Friday before 10 am. You can also book a less than week stay; Friday – Monday for 3 nights or Monday – Friday for 4 nights. Either one is the same rate for the same size cabin. From May 1 to mid-June and mid-August to September 30 we have a minimum 2 night stay.
Resort amenities are family friendly: Two playgrounds, carpet ball, walking paths with an "ispy" search, hook & ring, horseshoe pit, volleyball, tetherball and basketball court. Free for registered guests are our paddleboards, paddleboats, double and single kayaks and a canoe,
Sleeping arrangement: 2 queen and 1 full bed with linens, plus a sofa
Bring your boat, or rent one of ours. We have fishing boat and pontoon rentals and plenty of dock space and boat lifts. Kayaks, canoe and paddleboats are included with your cabin rental. Relax with family around the campfire or one of our supplied board games. Movies, magazines and books will might come in handy if a shower moves through. The gas fireplace quickly removes off-season chill. Our multi-cabin and lodge resort has family accommodations in our variety of cabins and roomy reunion lodges - so if your group grows, we have lodging for everyone.
Because you book directly with us (Sue and Marty) we can help you plan a fishing tournament - our local expertise will come in handy if you are new to the area. Day trips might include a trek down the Paul Bunyan Trail, bird watching tours.
Cabin time around here includes lots of time near the lake and on the lake. Lake Edward is over 2000 acres, how’s that for a fisherman’s waterpark? It’s large enough for water skiing and much quieter than a chain of lakes. Listen to the sizzle of fish fillets over the camp fire: walleye, northern pike, largemouth & smallmouth bass, sunfish, and crappies all make for tasty treats. So do s’mores, hot dogs and marshmallows.
Fish, water ski or jet ski responsibly and also play on our eleven park-like acres at the resort. Our “front yard” is huge and ideal for yard games. Ask us for our resort hiking map, or enjoy the paved drives - great for bike riding and skating. When you return to your cabin we will have the wood (for sale) delivered right to your fire ring.
Nearby is Nisswa – 10 miles and offers unique shopping, turtle races and historic Pioneer Village. The Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame is free and 13 miles away. For a nature lover's delight, head to Crow Wing State Park.
