Nice deck and beautiful hilltop view of the lake. Bring plenty of sunscreen and swimming towels because the resort has a wonderful clean sandy beach and fun water raft. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day - 1 queen bed, a combo bunk (double bottom/single top) and a futon couch. One bath (shower only). Cribs and highchairs are available upon request. Salt and pepper, kitchen towels and dishcloths, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, fans and garbage bags are all provided!
Cabin 15 is on the north end of the resort grounds, across the harbor from the main lodge. The resort grounds offers plenty of unique entertainment; the turtle races and the minnow races are serious fun. The main lodge has: ice - ice cream - candy - pizza - shirts - laundry facilities - movie rentals (DVD & VHS) - sunscreen - Wireless Internet. Monday Night Lakeside Pot Luck (subject to weather)!
Explore the area: Tennis, riding stables, water slide and go-carts, excellent hiking and biking trails in Walker, Itasca State Park, Deep Portage Conservation Reserve and Wildlife Park, five golf courses, MN Fishing Hall of Fame, and the Mississippi Headwaters. At the resort: Fish all day and watch a beautiful sunset next to a crackling camp fire. Daily activities for children, plus 2 Rave Bongos with "The BLOB" slide walk and slide; new game room; safe sandy beach; playground, kayaks & canoes.
