Dunrovin Resort’s Triplex Cabin is made up of three separate but adjoining cabins: Cabin 12, Cabin 13 and Cabin 14. These northern Minnesota cabin homes can be rented individually, or as a group to accommodate a maximum of 34 overnight guests. Each cabin has its own kitchen, dining room and in-unit laundry.
Cabin 12 is a three-bedroom, two-bath unit facing the lakefront that sleeps up to 17 guests. This rental features a two-story floor plan with 1,750 square feet of interior living space. The master bedroom is located on the main level and furnished with a queen-sized bed. A second main-level bedroom has a queen and a twin-sized bed, while a lower-level bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed and two twins. This cabin also offers four queen-sized Easy Beds — two in the living room and two in the lower-level family room.
Cabin 13 is a one-story unit with two bedrooms and one and a half baths. At 900 square feet, it sleeps up to nine guests. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom is furnished with one queen and one twin-sized bed. This cabin has two queen-sized Easy Beds in the living area.
Cabin 14 is also 900 square feet, with only one bedroom and one bath. This lower-level rental can accommodate up to eight guests and is fully wheelchair accessible. The single bedroom at Cabin 14 is furnished with one queen-sized bed and two twin beds. The living room is equipped with two queen-sized Easy Beds.
The 600-foot-long steel boat dock at Dunrovin Resort was new in 2016. All three units at the Triplex Cabin are situated facing the lakefront, and each is equipped with a private dock slip — two are assigned to Cabin 12, and one each is assigned to Cabins 13 and 14. Additional slips are available for $15 a day or $75 a week. 50-foot extension cords are needed to access power on the docks.
We also offer summer rentals for pontoons, fishing boats and boat lifts, and winter rentals for ice house sleepers. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and a water trampoline are free onsite.
The Triplex Cabin has full access to resort grounds and amenities at Dunrovin Resort in Hines, MN. The resort is family- and pet-friendly, with a wide range of onsite offerings and activities, including a game area, a convenience store, water toys, a sand beach, sport courts, a children’s play area, and a shallow swimming area. Our grounds are level and well-maintained, making it easy for guests of all ages and abilities to get around. Cabins include a barbecue grill, a picnic table and a campfire bowl.
Dunrovin Resort is a great place to stay if you are interested in hunting and fishing. Blackduck Lake covers 2,600 acres and is home to some of the best fishing in Minnesota, including walleye, jumbo perch, northern pike, largemouth bass, crappie and sunfish. The resort is also centrally located to a number of state-owned hunting grounds, where you can try your hand at deer, duck, goose, grouse and more. Other warm-weather activities include golfing and hiking.
In the winter, Dunrovin offers access to beautifully groomed snowmobile trails and excellent ice fishing. The resort is also just 19 miles from the Buena Vista Ski Area, where you can find downhill skiing, tubing, snowboarding and even horse-drawn sleigh rides.

The entire Triplex Cabin can be rented at a rate of $4,000/week.
Triplex rates are based on a party of 18 adults — children under 18 stay free.
Extra adult fees are $15/night or $75/week.
Holiday weekends require a three-night minimum for individual cabin rentals.
June, July and August rentals require a five-night minimum.
