This lake home is a great family reunion home. It is on the north side of Pleasant Lake, with a perfect southern exposure. Also plenty of room for the whole family. There are two docks to dock up to 3 boats along with a pontoon that is available for rent as well. The beach is sandy and fabulous for small children and the big kids can swim out to the raft. There is also plenty of room and electric hook ups to bring in extra campers. The fishing is great and there is a fish cleaning station in the garage along with a fish fryer and 2 grills. The cabin is also set up for winter fun, bring your Ice fishing gear and snowmobiles. With a heated garage, all your gear will be thawed and dry the next day. Our garage also has hot and cold water, and a TV and couch to add to the man-cave experience, if your interested in football or any sporting events.
The most unique feature of our cabin in the amount of beds it has. There are 3 queen beds, 5 double beds, two single beds, 1 crib and plenty of room for blow up mattresses or sleeping bags. The backyard is perfect for yard games and the lake shore beauty is second to none. There are two large deck tables with chairs, 1 regular sized picnic table and one child size along with the kitchen table, you can easily feed 30 people sitting down at one time. There is a 16' diameter burn pit just off from the lake to enjoy the warmth or roasting marshmallows and s'mores.
The fishing is fabulous! There is a paddle boat and a kayak to use. There is state land near by and trails to walk and ride. The Northern Lights casino is 7 miles away. Walker is 10 miles away with lots of shopping and fun on Leech Lake. In Hackensack there is a park next to Birch Lake with a large statue of Lucette (Paul Bunyun's wife). Across the street from the park is Fun and Sun. You will feel like you took a time machine back to the 50's as you eat a old fashion malt at the counter. There are other fun places to see and things to do in Hackensack all summer long. If winter is your passion our cabin is near hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails.

Dave, Dawn, Doug and Kelly Schmidt have owned the cabin since 2020. They purchased it from Dave and Doug's siblings who owned it for over 20 years so it has been in the family a long time. We love the cabin, the lake and area so much we couldn't let anyone else buy it. We know if you rent our cabin you will love it as much as we do!
