Beautiful setting, superb accommodations
My wife and I just completed a four night getaway to one of our favorite places, the North Shore of Lake Superior. Our visit was complemented by the exceptional townhouse, Windsong 618, where we were fortunate enough to stay. The rental process was hassle-free. The owner of the property had all information we would need very well organized and responded to any questions we had within minutes. The property was exactly as described, very clean and well stocked with items we might need, and in a very quiet, tranquil setting. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and hopefully return again soon.
This Windsong Cottage Town home has to be in the top five of vacation rentals that we have stayed in our travels: Maui, Yosemite, Sanibel Island, Colorado Rocky Mts to name a few. This was our first visit to Minnesota and the Northern Shore spending six nights and we loved it! The unit is right on the water. The pictures are exactly what you see. Furniture is comfortable, yet rustic with elegance. I love the pop of red in each room, including out on the deck. The kitchen was well-stocked, great selection of pots and pans and good knives. Jo had one cupboard with spices, vinegars, oils, brown sugar which was helpful when you needed just 1 teaspoon of chili powder, for example. Since we were there in summer, we did not use the Jacuzzi tub, but my husband did swim in the pool and enjoyed the sauna. The washer & dryer came in handy since we were on an extended road trip, traveling 3800 miles round-trip from South Texas. Jo was a pleasure to work with, you can't go wrong with this unit.
North Shore Treasure
We enjoyed our stay at this townhome directly overlooking Lake Superior. We were looking for a few days of complete relaxation and found it here. Very well equipped home with special amenities including the whirlpool tub overlooking the lake in the master bedroom. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the deck watching all the birds flying about and listening to the lapping of the waves on the shore. Very well kept and clean home in very quiet development. Great location with the marina and several parks nearby. We also enjoyed some great local restaurants in the area. Don't miss this gem to spend a relaxing vacation at.
Awesome views on the North Shore
I've stayed numerous places on the North Shore, and this is one of the best, if not the best! The views are incredible, Everything in the home is in excellent working order. I loved all the notes of instruction throughout the house that made operating everything from the TV to the Jacuzzi a breeze. I loved the chair at the top of the stairs. Comfy for reading and having a great view all at the same time. Jo was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly.

This home is a dream come true for us, we love the north shore, we were even married in Lutsen. Since we were regular guests at a popular resort on the lake, we decided to take the plunge and buy this home so we could come more often. We are hikers and snowshoers so being close to 3 of Minnesota's most popular state parks is a favorite feature of our home's location. We decided to start renting it because it gives us such joy and it seemed a shame that it sat empty when we returned to the Twin Cities. It has been our pleasure to have shared our home with people from all over the country and many from other countries.
