Come and relax at Serenity Hallow’s Cottage. The Cottage has a beautiful wrap-around deck and spacious yard. Inside The Cottage, you will find unique and tasteful decorations. The living room has comfortable furniture, and a flat screen TV that comes with DirecTV. The kitchen has full size appliances and a pub table.
At Serenity Hollow, you have the option to rent out The Cottage, The Cabin, or both depending on the size of your group. The Cottage sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has 3 twin beds. For additional sleeping space, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

When you stay with us, you get full access to the facilities found at the Little Toad Lake Campground (which we also own). The campground is adjacent to Serenity Hollow and guest get to use the sandy beach, playground, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a slip on the marina style dock, fish cleaning station and a store with library books and DVDs to borrow.
Both The Cottage and The Cabin at Serenity Hollow has been completely renovated. The property is filled with huge oak trees and sits right alongside Little Toad Lake. This is truly the perfect place to spend time with your family and friends.
There are a variety of “resort amenities” such as the sandy beach and playground that will keep you busy all day long, but we also recommend checking out Detroit Lakes, MN (15 minutes away). The Detroit Lake Public Beach is a great place to relax. You can rent out paddle boards and paddle boats from the nearby marina. The K & K Tubing provides fun adventures down the rivers.
The Shady Hollow Flea Market is open on Sundays during the summer. You can find vintage items, clothing, jewelry and other unique treasures. Don’t forget to stop by the SuLaine’s Antique Mall. After a afternoon exploring Detroit Lakes, grab your fishing pole and head out onto Little Toad Lake. The lake is 345 acres and 65 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to reel in bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye.
The Detroit Lakes area has 412 lakes with lots of water recreation opportunities. There are also miles of hiking & biking trails, golfing, shopping and dining.
