The Point Retreats on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes in central Minnesota is a stunning private resort with 1500 feet of shoreline and breathtaking natural views. The property includes two luxury log cabins and a lodge, situated on a wooded peninsula just outside Pequot Lakes, MN.
Our cabins can be rented individually or as a group to accommodate up to 24 overnight guests, and at 8000 combined square feet (with plenty of additional outdoor space) there is plenty of room to spread out and relax. This makes it the perfect getaway for large groups and reunions.
Our Main Lodge has three private bedrooms, each furnished with a king-sized bed with an attached full bath. Our Clamshell Cabin has two king master suites, a queen suite, and a bunk room with four twins and its own bath. Our Bertha Cabin has one king suite and two guest rooms that share a full bath. These rooms are furnished with a queen and two twins.
Two queen rollaway beds and two queen inflatable beds are available upon request, as is the use of our uninsulated boat house near the water. The boat house sleeps four and is a favorite with older children. Each cabin has its own kitchen, laundry, deck, grill and lake access point.
The Point Retreats’ unique layout and accommodations make it easy to plan and host your guest retreat, private vacation, reunion, wedding party or professional team building event. We offer a variety of wellness amenities onsite, including a full gym, indoor and outdoor saunas, and sporting equipment such as yoga mats, paddle boards, bicycles, snowshoes and kayaks. We also plan seasonal retreat and learning opportunities at the resort, from medical professional CME courses to personal wellness and development seminars. Your registration cost for renting includes basic lodging and all onsite amenities (unless indicated otherwise).
Our quiet luxury resort on The Point peninsula is located roughly 30 minutes outside of the popular Brainerd, MN, area, and just a few miles from the smaller community of Pequot Lakes.
With the cabins and lodge settled between the towering pines on a private outcropping on the pristine Whitefish Chain of Lakes, you’ll have constant access to relaxing outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, swimming and boating. The resort grounds include two private beaches, a large boat dock, and four open-air decks offering sunset views out over the water.
Other onsite amenities include grills at each of the cabins and complementary equipment rentals for kayaks, paddle boards, snowshoes and bicycles — not to mention two saunas!
The retreat is close to local towns that offer fine dining, shopping and pubs. You can also venture out for a variety of golfing options at the Whitefish Golf Course, Deacons, The Preserve, Maddens, The Pines at Grandview, and Golden Eagle — all just a short drive away.

During peak summer season, all three cabins are as a group with a seven-night minimum stay.
Outside of the peak season, individual cabins are available for rent with a two-night minimum.
The Point Retreats observes quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am.
Check in starts at 4 pm, with check out by 10 am.
Please refrain from diving off our boat docks or setting drinks on the pool table.
Renters are responsible for any damage to the property during your stay.
Cancellations made a minimum of 14 days prior to check in will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made a minimum of seven days prior to check in will receive a 50-percent refund, less the service fee.

Our family had a great week. The property had stuff for all ages in our family from the swing set and clubhouse to the bikes, paddle boards and gym for all to enjoy!
