Cabin 16 is a beautiful, modern two-story cabin built right at the water’s edge on White Iron Lake. With a full wall of windows on the lake-facing side, guests have access to a remarkable view, as well as comfortable accommodations for eight in northern Minnesota near Ely.
This three-bedroom cabin has a contemporary roofline, an open-concept living space and 10 feet of shoreline on White Iron Lake — the perfect vacation spot for anyone hoping to spend their days propped on a warm rock in the sun casting a line in the clear water.
The home was newly renovated in 2014, with a sitting room and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and two remastered bathrooms with vanities. The lower-level screen room was added in 2014 and is a great place to enjoy the lake view — without the bugs.
Sleeping arrangements: Cabin 16 has one king-sized bed in the master suite, one queen-sized bed, and two sets of bunk beds with twin-sized mattresses lofted over full-sized beds.
Reminder: guests will need to bring their own bath and dish towels.
Cabin 16 is one of 26 lakefront cabins at White Iron Beach Resort. These smaller cabins located along the lake edge are located within an easy walking distance of shared resort amenities and of each other, making it easy to rent several cabins at once to accommodate larger groups or events. White Iron Beach Resort is located at the heart of northern Minnesota wilderness tourism and surrounded by the Superior National Forest. The neighboring town of Ely is located at one of the few entrance points to the vast Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The Resort is also centrally located to a number of scenic hiking and biking trails and unique landmarks such as the Tower-Soudan Underground Mine and the International Wolf Center. We offer complimentary kayaks and canoes at the resort, as well as onsite rentals for pontoons and motor fishing boats — the better to pull in native bass, crappie, walleye and northern pike.
The downtown area of Ely is a great spot to explore for dining options, shopping and entertainment — not to mention all of the luxury amenities we offer onsite, including a sauna, a sandy beach area, a children’s play area, boat docks, fire pits, a game room, and basketball and volleyball courts. Peak season at White Iron Beach runs from mid-June to mid-August, with weekly rates of $2,524.00.
During the off-season, weekly rentals are available at a rate of $2,019.00.
Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.
Check-in is available starting at 3:00 pm with check-out scheduled for 9:00 am.
A deposit of 30 percent of the rental fee or $300.00 (whichever is greater) is required to reserve the cabin.
Nightly rentals are available upon request.

The pontoon boat rental was reasonably priced and we were able to catch some nice fish from it. The owners were available throughout our stay and were more than accommodating. I didn't walk the grounds much, but it seemed that most(if not all) the cabins were within 75 yards of the water. We had the BEST time. First visit to northern Minnesota for my grandkids and son in law, they loved it all. The last night of our visit we went to the beach and looked a sky full of stars. We loved that the kids could borrow games,shoot pool, and listen to music by the campfire. Cabin was great for our large family, the resort owners were very nice, and very helpful.
