Mariner is a large, single-story cabin with room for up to 14 guests located right on the water at Walker, Minnesota’s popular Leech Lake. Sleeping arrangements: Marine cottage offers accommodations for 14 in five private bedrooms. It has a total of three queen-sized beds, six twin-sized beds and a full-sized log futon.
Mariner is the largest of four cabins at the historic 1920s-era Anderson’s Pine Point Resort. The five-bedroom cottage is located less than 60 feet from the water’s edge on Leech Lake, with easy access to shared resort amenities such as fishing docks, a boat harbor and the lodge.
Anderson’s Pine Point Resort is located on the south shore of Leech Lake, and has made a reputation for itself as a family favorite up-north vacation site. With boat docks and a sandy swimming area right at the water’s edge, guests have easy access to sunning, swimming and fishing right outside their cabin door. Common catches include musky, walleye, perch and pike.
The shoreline owned by the resort is situated about a half mile from Pine Point, which is famous for its scenic views and unique rock structure. It is also about a mile from Goose Island and a short drive from shopping, dining, museums, casinos, festivals and arts and entertainment venues in the mid-sized northern town of Walker, Minnesota.
Leech Lake and the surrounding nature areas offer outdoor adventure year-round with excellent ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in winter, hiking, biking, hunting, birding, golfing, geocaching and sailing in the spring and fall, and tubing, swimming, and waterskiing in the summer months. Pack up the family and spend a week at the cabin!

All cabins require a damage deposit of half down to reserve the space.
Nightly rates at Mariner cabin range from $259.00 to $517 for up to 10 guests. Additional guests will incur a fee of $30.00 per person per night, or $10.00 per night for children.
Pets are welcome at the property and will incur an additional fee of $30.00 per night.
Check in is available starting at 4:00 pm, with check-out scheduled at 9:00 am.
Emergency cancellations will receive a 50 percent refund if the cabin can be re-rented.

I am a seasoned resort owner, and have been managing Grand Vu Lodge for the past 25 years and Horseshoe Bay Lodge for the past nine.
