Sitting amongst tall, shady trees, the log cabins at Blackduck Lodge & Resort are historical loggers cabins from the turn of the 20th century and each one is unique. The cabins were built to house loggers while working in the Blackduck area. A railroad spur (no longer in existence) was built to transport the logs from around Blackduck Lake to processing plants. Although the cabins are over 100 years old, they have been renovated over the years to include all the modern conveniences. The cabins have been described by our guests as "historic", "cozy", "unique", and "very clean".
Blackduck Lodge & Resort offers onsite boat rentals for guests. A 14-foot Crestliner fishing boat is available with a cabin rental for $50.00 per day plus gas or $250.00 per week plus gas. Boat rentals include a 20 horsepower four-stroke Yamaha motor, a bilge pump, a live well, pole holders and a Color Fish Finder with GPS. Contact us prior to your arrival date to reserve your watercraft.

Blackduck Lodge & Resort in northern Minnesota is a perfect getaway for hunters and fishers. The resort cabins are each located within walking distance to the shoreline on Blackduck Lake, which is known for excellent walleye fishing. Guests also regularly catch yellow perch, northern pike, bluegill, black crappie, rock bass, largemouth bass, freshwater drum, and bullheads - as well as the occasional catfish. If you’re heading out on the lake, we’re happy to direct you to some of our favorite fishing spots! We are avid fishermen too!
The resort is centrally located to a number of other great fishing lakes, including Upper Red Lake, Lake Bemidji, Pimushe Lake, Benjamin Lake, Cass Lake, and Turtle River Lake, to name a few. We are also conveniently located to the Chippewa National Forest with its 298 non-motorized trails, some of which pass through wild grouse habitat.
