Bridal Wreath. This Bridal Wreath outside of Inn Suite #6 reminds me of growing up in SE Minnesota. This along with a lilac and silver maple are tastes of my childhood home.

Private Patio in Fall. You may need extra clothing to enjoy the private patio in the fall, but the spectacular view of Lake Superior in fall colors is worth it. Just off Inn Suite #6, you have the big lake laid out in front of you.

Ore Freighter Passing By. Picture what the workers are doing aboard as a massive ore freighter passes by Inn Suite #6 near the horizon. They are a common sight in the fall and early winter.

Beaver Chewed Down Aspen. We seldom see a beaver at our resort, but we have no problem seeing they have been there. They love chewing down and eating the young aspen trees growing near our shore.

Sunrise on Lake Superior. Sunrises are breathtaking from Inn Suite #6 but even more breathtaking from the beach. This photo was taken by our guest, John Ashmore, who took his camera to the beach to capture this experience.

Moonrise on Lake Superior. Although sunrises over Lake Superior are bursting with light, moonrises are more subdued but equally stunning. Our guest, John Ashmore, captured the moon rising over Lake Superior on the beach near Inn Suite #6.

Paddleboarder. When Lake Superior is quiet there are many watercraft activities you can enjoy. This guest is out on their paddleboard exploring the shoreline.

Eastern View of The Inn. About 40 feet from the beach, only walking paths, natural vegetation, and rocks separate you from the water. The multiple gable inn is built on the footprint of the original house. This sidewalk leads to the Inn Suite #6 patio.
