Entry Stairs. With an exterior staircase just west of the office you'll take the steps up to this Lake Superior oasis at the top of The Inn.

Entry Porch. Once you have climbed up the flight of exterior steps to this entry porch, you will still have another flight of interior steps to go. Inn Suite #8 is worth the climb up.

Stairs to the Beach. Most guests want access to our rocky beach whether it is to get closer to the water, touch the water, or get into the water. This is one of our staircases near Inn Suite #8 leading down to the beach in early spring.

The Sailboat Hjordis. It is not uncommon to see North House Folk School's sailboat, The Hjordis passing by our shore. Maybe you might want to get tickets for an afternoon sail.

Bald Eagle in Dead Birch. Keep your eyes on the watch for Bald Eagles who seem to really like flying along the shore. Bald Eagles are one of many wildlife species that frequent our resort.

Eastern View of The Inn. About 40 feet from the beach, only walking paths, natural vegetation, and rocks separate you from the water. The tall multiple gable inn is built on the footprint of the original house.
