Cabin 4 is in the middle of our 9 cabin resort -surrounded by 35 acres of pristine woodlands and 2,500 feet of Garden Lake shoreline. Lawn chairs, charcoal grill, and a view of the lake come with your stay. Cookware, bakeware, utensils, coffee maker and microwave top off your home away from home kitchen. Welcome to the White Iron Chain of Lakes!
Sleeping arrangement: One queen bed is in the downstairs bedroom. One full bed is in each of the upstairs bedrooms. Full Bath downstairs.
You’ll be booking directly with us at Deer Ridge Resort, so we can give you tips on how to get the most out of your Ely vacation. We know where to fish so we’ll give you a lake map showing you some hot spots.
We’re full of local expertise - Wolf Center, Bear Center, Dorothy Molter Museum, Ely shopping, and nearby golf. We can tell you where to find Minnesota hiking trails that can lead you on a short jaunt, a vigorous day trip, or an extended wilderness trek!
Step out the sliding glass door onto a huge deck facing the lake! Now it’s cabin time:) You could say our Ely Minnesota resort offers a family-oriented, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddling emphasis. Makes sense since you’ll have access to four lakes with over 6,000 acres of some of the best world class fishing! Garden Lake is famous for its smallmouth bass and crappie fishing; 1,328 acre Farm Lake is packed with northern pike; 3,649 White Iron Lake has walleye in the 5-8lbs range; 618 acre South Farm Lake is for wilderness lovers (it’s inside of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area).
Swimming, kids playground, frisbee golf, horseshoes, board games, nature photography, bird watching, star gazing, and a short five minute walk from your cabin is KAWISHIWI FALLS. The finest shopping and most intriguing gifts anywhere can be found in Ely, MN (why not commemorate your trip). Stop in at a Bait & Tackle Shop for ideas on gear, bait and fishing other lakes in the area.

Check in time 3:30 p.m., check out time 10 a.m. Reservation requires $300 minimum deposit. Guests pay in full during check in. Add Minnesota state tax and local lodging tax. $110 weekly and $20 nightly for additional guests.
Boat rentals start at $75/day or $325/wk
Great little resort. The cabins were clean and well maintained. The amenities are great. (kayaks, canoes, laundry facility, sauna, disc golf, hiking) The owners are so friendly and helpful, you definitely get that home away from home feeling. Jessica Luster
