Big groups need a big boat to explore 1226-acre Wabedo Lake, so plan ahead and rent our 21ft Pontoon Boat: $90 1/2 day, $129/day, $618/week. It’s a great way to see many bays, points and miles of irregular shoreline.
If you find any time to spend inside, we made that a clean and comfortable experience too: TV has DVD player. The group chef will love the furnished kitchen (refrigerator, cook stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, bake ware, dishes, silverware and utensils.) Spacious living room has amazing lake views!
Since you book directly with us at Diamond Crest Resort, our staff can tell you everything that’s included in your lakeside vacation. Like 1 boat launch and 1 dock space for your boat. Sandy beach, swimming area and Playground. Kayaks and paddleboat are all free for guests to use! We have gas, ice, campfire wood and bait for sale at the resort.

Diamond Crest Resort is 9 miles south of Longville, MN. That means all of Longville’s seasonal events are nearby. What makes these events so unique? Every Wednesday afternoon from June through late August, Longville hosts their iconic Turtle Races! This family fun event has taken place each of the last 50 years! You’ll be amazed at the streams of cars that descend on the little town of Longville to watch turtles RACE. Themed games for the kids include: Turtle Ring Toss, Turtles On the Fence, Bag the Turtle, Turtle Roll - you just have to see it to believe it.
Longville's famous turtle races every Wednesday during the summer. It is the quintessential “Up North” town, beautiful woods and waters surround this small town making it a great year-round destination for the whole family. There are hundreds of miles of trails - most recognizable is the famous Paul Bunyan trail which extends 120 miles from Brainerd north to Lake Bemidji State Park. The 24-mile Heartland Trail weaves through woods, lakes and quaint communities.
We love the outdoors and trails as much as you do. So, ATV's and motorbikes are welcome. Pack your poles, nets, tackle, coolers, sunglasses and sunscreen because fishing is probably the biggest reason folks choose Diamond Crest Resort - Wabedo Lake has great structure for Muskies, Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie and Bluegill. There is a channel with boat access that connects to 1452-acre Little Boy Lake, also a great lake for pleasure boating and fishing.
Day trips might include visits to nearby Walker, Hackensack, Backus, Pine River, Emily, Outing, Leech Lake, Walker Casino, Walker, Emily Golf courses. Longville is the ideal location for a weekend (or better yet, a week) get-away or a family vacation.
