Our Year Round Wabedo Lake Home Rental is a 2,400 sq. foot, 2-level, lakefront home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The Great Room has a wood-beamed cathedral ceiling with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace as the focal point. From the comfortable couches, 1 is a double sofa sleeper you can look out the wall of windows and see the morning light bouncing sparkles off the lake. A deck off the living room has patio furniture where you can savor your morning coffee and the stillness of the surrounding forest. Our year-round, north central Minnesota cabin rental locates you in an area with pristine water, abundant wildlife, and majestic forests.
The main level bedroom with king bed has a row of windows for more amazing views of the lake. This Longville lakefront home has two more bedrooms each with a queen bed in the lower level and a cozy wood-paneled family room with flat screen TV/DVD player and firestick, small game table and a queen sofa sleeper. The lower level has a full walkout to a patio and more great views down to the lake. There is a flat lawn area for family sporting games, and a private dock where you can fish, swim, or sunbathe.
The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar that seats four, a refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, silverware, dish ware, glasses, cook ware, and cooking utensils. The eat-in dining room seats six comfortably, or you can eat out on the deck’s patio table/chairs.

You have your own private dock at this DCR Wabedo Lake Home rental that is only a three-hour drive from the twin cities of Minnesota. Fish and swim in some of the most pristine waters of northern Minnesota. You also have free access to the resort kayaks and paddleboats so you can get out and explore Wabedo Lake. The resort rents pontoon boats, canoes, or a boat/motors and you can tie them up at your home’s dock. Wabedo Lake has many bays to explore with great fishing for Bluegill, Crappie, Northern Pike, Walleye and Muskies.
The Great Room of this Minnesota waterfront home has abundant windows to let in all the beautiful views of the lake. Or you can simply step outside on the deck and enjoy the fresh air and views. The modern kitchen has everything you need to make a tasty family meal. The downstairs family room is likely to be a favorite hangout for the children if you are visiting as a family.
If you are visiting June-August, then you must stop in Longville to see its unique Turtle Races, which started back in the 1960’s. The races are from 1:00-4:00 pm on Wednesday, so check Longville’s webpage to find out all the specifics that allow children to sponsor/race their own turtles. You may just have to stop in Frosty’s Ice Cream and Pizza Parlor before or after the race. They offer over 30 flavors of ice cream. Afterwards, everyone can return to the DCR Wabedo Lake home and go for a refreshing swim. What a day!
Bring your bikes because there are literally hundreds of miles of trails nearby for bikers, in-line skaters, and hikers. There is also mountain biking on the Woodtick Trail west of Longville. This scenic trail winds through the Chippewa National Forest and lakes, eventually joining up with the 120 miles long multi-use Paul Bunyan Trail.
