This cozy cottage is one of three cottages in a row that makes for a perfect couple's retreat or small group gathering among three different cottages. Take advantage of the lakeside cottages by enjoying meals out on the sunny side deck overlooking Lake Florida. Once you walk inside, you will instantly find yourself looking forward to the next few days as the furnished kitchen and living room has a large window that lets in a lot of sunlight for your morning book reads or a night under the stars.
This resort is a family friendly fishing resort with a fish cleaning house and many organized activities. The chaise lounge chairs on the level beach provide a relaxing afternoon under the sun with the gentle waters rolling in on the sandy beaches. Kids love the many amenities such as jungle gym, water toys, kayaks, sailboat, and docks to fish off of. There is a boat you may rent but kayaks, wagons, bikes, trikes, and canoes are free for our guests. Enjoy Sunday morning donuts that are homemade, fresh and warm. Mondays are our homemade pizza nights and Thursday is a lot of fun with the children only hay rides and resort wide campfire. (Don't forget the chocolate and graham crackers.)
Many resort activities and toys to use but if going into town a little further seems like something you guys want to do one day, we suggest using our bikes and heading along the many trails such as the Glacial Ridge National Scenic Byway or taking a cuise along Green Lake on a houseboat. Willmar also offers plenty of entertainment and a wide variety of shopping and dining options. For those love to golf, the Spicer and WIllmar area has many golf courses and for those love the variety of birds in the midwest, the Spicer area is a great area to check out the vast amound of wildlife here
