13 family-friendly resort cabins. Beautiful sand beach. Level grounds. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in your cabin. It’s all part of your vacation experience at Cottage 6. Vaulted ceilings in the living room and the kitchen. refrigerator, gas stove, silverware, microwave, drip coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, serving bowls, hot air popcorn popper, clock radio, bed linens, feather pillows. Outside is a picnic table and 2 sitting chairs.
Sleeping arrangement: 2 bedrooms downstairs & a loft bedroom. 2-Queen / 2-Singles. The bathroom has a tub/shower.
We are one of only a few 4th generation resorts operating in Minnesota and have been seen in “Minnesota Monthly”. Our guests enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat, a canoe, inner tubes, fun bugs, hydro bikes, a sailboat and other water toys. We also have fishing boats and motors for rent.
For land-lovers we have bicycles & tricycles, wagons & push cars, Jungle gym and a swing set.
This is a place where family and friends can join together in an atmosphere of warmth and happy experiences. Monday night is Pizza Picnic and Thursday night is our hayride for the children followed by roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.”
Lake Florida is a 674 acre spring fed lake. Fish on! Large mouth bass and walleye, northern pike, pan fish. There is a public boat launch 1 block north of the resort. We have a nice fish cleaning room too! In fact, there are 360 lakes in the area.
Nearby are miles of trails including the Glacial Lakes State Trail running from Willmar to Spicer to New London. Plus trails at Sibley State Park. We are 6 miles west of Spicer, MN.
Things to remember: Graham crackers and Hershey bars! Bring your own bath & kitchen towels & soap for the bath & kitchen.

Telephone reservations will be held for 5 days without a deposit. Deposits for non-prime time reservations are $200 less than for prime time
Deposits will be refunded only if we are able to re-rent the cottage less a $100 office fee.
Guests are responsible for the entire length of their reservation. Please let us know if you will be arriving late or leaving early. There is an additional fee of $40 for overnight guests over the base rate. There is also a charge for daytime guests based on the amount of time spent at the resort. Please do not invite guests without asking Bob and Connie first.
