This brand new duplex was recently finished and is ready for your summer vacation traditions to begin! This very spacious vacation site boosts a monitor style barn with 2 - 1350 SF living areas and 6000 SF of heated storage on 14 acres of land and 200+ LF of shore line on Buchanan Lake. The lot has many mature oak trees, prairie grass fields, and 1200+ trees planted in the spring of 2018. Cabin features custom knotty alder cabinets, doors and trim; stainless steel appliance; eat in kitchen; washer and dryer on site; 16x12 Deck; and air conditioning. The kitchen of this cozy vacation rental is fully equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, large (including a dishwasher) and small appliances and table settings for 10+. The dining area features seating for 10 at bar height stools. There is a bonus living room above the entry for relaxing, reading, playing games, or watching TV. We have our Vacation Home Rental License from Otter Tail County and are inspected.
Sleeping arrangement: 2 bedrooms with 1 queen each and 2 bedrooms with bunk beds with 1 full and 1 single each.
There is a nature trail or prairie field walk to the beach area. Located just off of HWY 78 surrounded by many other lakes and restaurants nearby. The lower lever of the Monitor Style Barn features almost 6000 SF of heated storage space or can be a great play area in the summer on rain days at the lake. The spacious decks have 2 picnic tables each for plenty of seating and a gas grill. The 2 fire pits are both custom made by the owners. One fire pit is near the beach area and one is closer to the cabin. Both fire pits have seating for 10 on custom handmade Adirondack chairs. Paddle boat at the beach area is for all to use at no cost (please bring life jackets if you plan to use). There is also a pontoon available for rent. It is $175/Day or $750/Week. Please bring life jackets if you plan to use the paddle boat or rent the pontoon.
This area is a vactioners dream! Buchanan Lake has wonderful fishing and is excellent for all water sports. The property is located aprroximately 1 mile from the city of Ottertail and approximately 9 miles from the city of Perham. The restaraunt choices are endless, many golf courses, hiking/biking trails, shopping, snowmobiling, and hunting.

Summer Rates (May - September) $300.00/Night with a 4 night minimum; $1825.00 per week; or $6400/Month. June 5 - August 28 are full week or monthly bookings only.
Winter Rates (October - April) would be $225.00/Night with a 3 night minimum; $1200.00 per week; or $3000/Month
*There is a $150 cleaning fee per stay. We ask for a $400 down payment and $400 damage deposit at the time of your reservation. Cancellation within 4 weeks of stay will result in the loss of down payment and deposit.
Normal Check Out is 10:00 AM on Saturday and Normal Check In is 4:00 PM on Saturday. Other arrangements can be made upon request.
