Tucked away in the Minnesota wilderness just an hour north of the Twin Cities, Fisher Cabin offers a private, off‑grid glamping experience. When you arrive, our team transports you and your gear beyond the parking area to a secluded campsite, keeping vehicles out to protect the wildlife. Once settled, you can relax in a fully heated camper cabin and enjoy evenings around the fire table under the stars with all propane provided.
Inside the cabin you’ll find a full‑sized bed and a cozy couch that can accommodate an extra guest, as well as a well‑equipped kitchen with stove, oven, pots, pans, plates and compostable utensils. The cabin is off‑grid: a 12‑volt battery and solar panels power the LED lights and a charging port for your phone, and we provide flashlights and binoculars for your adventures. Guests also enjoy a clean community shower house and bathroom just a short walk away. Two complementary travel mugs bearing the Nature Retreats logo are yours to keep.
Fisher Cabin includes its own ground blind for wildlife viewing and is steps away from two bird‑feeding stations where dozens of species visit throughout the day. Nature Retreats MN’s interactive map helps you plan outings to nearby state parks and trails, and our tranquil setting with plenty of privacy between camps invites couples and individuals to reconnect with nature and capture incredible photographs. With strong cell service and no noisy generators, you can disconnect without being unreachable.
