Tucked in the luscious green forest, right alongside one of the many lakes, you have ample opportunities to engage in your favorite water sports, or catch some rays at the on-site sandy beach.
This cabin also includes a full kitchen and dining area to enjoy meals together as a family, and a spacious living room to enjoy your favorite films. Additionally, the main room comes equipped with a mini-split HVAC unit
This up-north vacation rental comes with two private bedrooms, containing a queen-sized bed in each. Each room also includes two curtained windows with a wonderful view of the outdoors, and a ceiling fan to let you down during those hot summer nights. Aside from the queen beds, guests can also sleep on the futon, allowing the home to comfortably sleep 6 people. A large bathroom with a tub-shower, toilet, and sink is positioned closely to all rooms.
Located on the outside of the cottage is a 5ft x 8x deck. This cabin is especially unique as it contains an access ramp, making it easier for those who cannot enter the home by stairs. During those summer nights you can use the charcoal grill to barbecue your favorite meats or vegetables, and end the night roasting s’mores around the fire-pit.
Fergus Falls is a beautiful spot to visit any time of the year. Being only a few hours away from the Twin Cities, you will feel as if you are a perfect distance from all of the business of the city, but not too far to come up for just a weekend.
If you are looking to just stroll through the downtown area, there is an abundance of shops and restaurants. From Dandelion and Burdock to Biffley’s & Bookmark, you will have everything you need to enjoy your vacation and look the part! Along the tree-lined paths and Riverwalk, you will find yourself gravitated to many of the delicious dining spots. This includes a variety of cuisines such as an authentic Tex-Mex food at Don Pablo’s Mexican Family Restaurant or a juicy American burger at the Viking Cafe.
If you are interested in learning about the town's history and culture, there are many different options! At the local theater, you can watch year-round music, dance, and visual arts programs. For those who are visiting the area with children, the Otter Cove Children’s museum is a must.

Last minute camper rental turned into an amazing find. So friendly and the grounds are beautiful!!!! Perfect for kids of all ages. The camp sites are well maintained, cabins look amazing! There is so much to do…a great playground, game room (pool table, ping pong, board games, books, outdoor toys), volleyball, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and more!! The sandy beach is clean and great for swimming. Tons of sand toys! I seriously just keep telling my mom how awesome this place is. They have a 1/2 mile wilderness trail with exercise stops along the way. It was a fun way to start our morning. Office with a little store attached is perfect for a special treat or if you forgot something. We will definitely be back! Sarah Beckmann

Swan Lake Resort & Campground is a family-owned operation that began in 1949. Originally known as John’s Landing, it emerged in response to locals looking to launch their boats into Swan Lake and camp in Farmer John’s nearby field. Over the years and with immense care, it grew into a Minnesota lakeside oasis. Although the resort has changed hands several times, it remains a beautiful haven for travelers passing through and the local community.
The resort & campground is the only commercial operation on recreational Swan Lake in Otter Tail County and is located a few miles south of Fergus Falls, MN. On 17 acres of land, 6 of which are natural woodlands, and has over 780 ft of lakeshore frontage that includes a sandy swimming beach.
