Duplex 4B is a modern cabin of 960 sq ft floor space with 3 spacious bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, living/dining area and large 20 ft x 15 ft patio. A photographer and birder's dream. 13.7 miles of shoreline that's next to Lake Alexander Woods Scientific and Natural Area - 2,000 acres of undisturbed nature! When the snow arrives, we give you full access to more than 700 miles of groomed snowmobile trails -from your doorstep.
Drink in the beauty of Fish Trap Lake. Relax underneath the glowing sun as you enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake-shore and beautiful wooded surroundings.
Weekly rates: Saturday to Saturday during summer (peak) season of June 17 – August 11. Minimum - 3 night stay during these dates
Split-week: Short stays available: 3-night stay - arrive Sat. -- depart Tues. For a 4-night stay - arrive Tue. -- depart Sat.
Daily rates: 3-night minimum peak season and 2-night minimum the rest of the year.
Unique Features
The Duplex has an adjoining center door that will transform it into 1,760 sq ft of living space including five bedrooms, two baths,
two kitchen/living areas, ideal for family or friend groups. When the center door is locked, the units become two individual cabins.
Both units have a nice view of Fish Trap Lake.
Things To Do
Face painting and an organized activity each morning Sunday - Friday for kids ages 4-99. Check out the area museums/art galleries, antiques, golf courses, even hot air balloon rides! Beginner, intermediate, advanced horseback riding - one hour, two hour guided trail rides, hay and sleigh rides too. Tour the McCoy Elk Ranch, or visit the quiet picnic grounds of Charles A Lindbergh State Park (eagles, hawks and owls can often be seen). Minnesota Fishing Museum, 9,000 fishing artifacts!

April of 2001, Chuck and Cindy Brey purchased a small resort on Fish Trap Lake in central Minnesota and named it SweetWater. Moving from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area to the lake country was a welcomed change. No matter the season, the Breys strive to provide the best vacation possible to their guests. Daily, organized activities are available. SweetWater has a playground, beach, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks that guests use at no charge and fishing boats and pontoons are available to rent.
