Weekly rates: We operate Saturday to Saturday during summer (peak) season of Mid-June to Mid-August. We do provide a "split-week" stay of either 3 nights or 4 nights stay during the peak season where you arrive on a Saturday or depart on a Saturday. An example: Arrive Sat. -- depart Tues for 3 nights or arrive Tue.-- depart Sat. for 4 nights.
Daily rates: 3-night minimum peak season and 2-night minimum the rest of the year.
Unique Features
We provide all the fire wood you need for each fire ring. Washer and dryer available at the resort office. 700 miles of groomed snowmobile trails are at your doorstep. The beach! Let the kids build a sand castle, while you unwind and relax in the sun. The gardens! Strolling through our SweetWater's Healing Gardens. The 20 x 50 hosta garden invites you to sit and relax!

Relax in the sun or shade at SweetWater Resort. We have four 2-bedroom units, two 3-bedroom units and one 6-bedroom unit. From the organized activity each morning, through the excitement of mid-day skiing, canoeing, hiking, to your dinner on the deck and evening bonfire -- we guarantee a memorable experience. Family memories are created at the lakeside house!

In summer (May-Oct.) we allow pet dogs only. We charge $60/wk or $10/day per dog. Min 2 dogs per cabin. NO DOGS IN WINTER MONTHS.

April of 2001, Chuck and Cindy Brey purchased a small resort on Fish Trap Lake in central Minnesota and named it SweetWater. Moving from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area to the lake country was a welcomed change. No matter the season, the Breys strive to provide the best vacation possible to their guests. Daily, organized activities are available. SweetWater has a playground, beach, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks that guests use at no charge and fishing boats and pontoons are available to rent.
