Walleye Beach Retreat is a private family vacation cabin available for summer rentals on central Minnesota’s beautiful Lake Florida. This cabin is quiet and beautifully decorated, with a grassy lawn, furnished sun porch with a view of the lake, garage parking and a private boat dock.
This newly updated 720-square-foot lakefront cabin is spacious and homey, with a central living space that walks out to the lakeside deck, and large windows that fill the rooms with natural light. The main living areas include a sitting room with a gas fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen.
Walleye Beach Retreat on Lake Florida is ideally situated to accommodate six overnight guests with two plush sofas for lounging, plenty of counter and table space for preparing and serving meals, and open play areas both indoors and out.
Sleeping arrangements: There are two private bedrooms at Walleye Beach Retreat, with one full bath between them. The first bedroom has one queen-sized bed, and the second has a queen-sized bed and a set of twin-over-twin bunk beds. Due to limited sleeping and parking accommodations, this is not an ideal location for a large party or gathering.
The cabin also has a full size washer and dryer.

This cabin is also available for long term rental from October-May
Rentals under 30 days are subject to an additional MN state tax of 6.875 percent and a Kandiyohi County tax of .5 percent. The total rent per week including sales tax is $1,395.88. There is no additional cleaning fee, but we do ask guests to leave the cabin in the condition they received it so we can keep rental rates as low as possible.

Lake Florida is an all-sport recreation lake in central Minnesota, located just 15 minutes north of Wilmar, MN, and roughly two hours from dining, shopping and attractions in Minneapolis. We love this lake because it is clean and pleasant for swimming, as well as being a great place to fish and explore in motor boats, kayaks or canoes.
The town of Spicer itself is a small, quaint midwest town surrounded by lakes, state parks, walking trails and scenic greenery. Popular activities include hiking and biking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and water sports. You can also find a number of unique gifts shops, antiques, and a summer weekend flea market and farmer’s market.

Walleye Beach Retreat rents weekly only from May through September at a fixed rate of $1,300/week. Rentals under 30 days are subject to an additional MN state tax of 6.875 percent and a Kandiyohi County tax of .5 percent. The total rent per week including sales tax is $1,395.88.
The weekly rental payment is required to secure your reservation. The $500 damage deposit is required prior to the check-in date. Cancellations made fewer than 60 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit 50 percent of the payment.
Weekly rentals run Sunday to Sunday with check-in at 4:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm. PLEASE NOTE: The calendar shows nights available, checkout is Sunday noon.
Since you book directly with Walleye Beach Retreat, these rates are not inflated by third-party booking sites. Owner taxes might not be included. Confirm final rates with the owner.
