Cabin 2 is a unique, log-construction vacation rental with two bedrooms and an open-air deck settled between the trees on a private loat at the beautiful lakefront White Iron Beach Resort. This home has a homey interior with a rustic design and decor, and an open, social floor plan.
Fully renovated in 2014, Cabin 2 features a modern kitchen with the necessary appliances and dinnerware. This quiet Minnesota getaway home offers access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and an unforgettable vacation experience in the clean northern air.
Cabin 2 has one full bath and one half bath, power heating, a cozy family-style living and dining area, and stunning lake views from the deck. You also have exclusive use of resort amenities, including basketball and volleyball courts, a game room, a sandy swimming area and fire pits.
Sleeping arrangements: Cabin 2 has one queen-sized bed, two full-sized beds, one twin-sized bed and a futon.
Reminder: guests will need to bring their own bath and dish towels.
Cabin 2 is one of 26 family cabins — including one duplex — at White Iron Beach Resort. These picturesque Minnesota vacation rentals can be reserved individually or as a group to accommodate reunions or other special events. In addition to cabin rentals, we provide complimentary canoes, as well as on-site rentals for motor boats and pontoons. We can even set you up with Boundary Waters permits in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service.

Our White Iron Lake vacation homes are secluded and quiet — and just a short walk from the clean, sandy shoreline. The water is clear and stays shallow for some distance, making it a great place to wade and swim — not to mention picnic and build sandcastles.
If you came for the fishing, you won’t be disappointed by the local population of bass, walleye, crappie and northern pike. Rent a boat and drag a line through the pristine wilderness or try your luck from the shared docks. You can also enjoy our sport courts, sauna, gameroom and weekly marshmallow roast.
If you’re interested in the local history and culture, the nearby town of Ely, MN, is an exciting dining and shopping destination. Popular attractions include the scenic hiking and biking trails, the historic mines and the International Wolf Center.

Peak season at White Iron Beach runs from mid-June to mid-August, with weekly rates of $1,658.00.
During the off-season, weekly rentals are available at a rate of $1,326.00.
Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.
Check-in is available starting at 3:00 pm with check-out scheduled for 9:00 am.
A deposit of 30 percent of the rental fee or $300.00 (whichever is greater) is required to reserve the cabin.
Nightly rentals are available upon request.

The pontoon boat rental was reasonably priced and we were able to catch some nice fish from it. The owners were available throughout our stay and were more than accommodating. I didn't walk the grounds much, but it seemed that most(if not all) the cabins were within 75 yards of the water. We had the BEST time. First visit to northern Minnesota for my grandkids and son in law, they loved it all. The last night of our visit we went to the beach and looked a sky full of stars. We loved that the kids could borrow games,shoot pool, and listen to music by the campfire. Cabin was great for our large family, the resort owners were very nice, and very helpful. As Ely, MN’s oldest wilderness resort (the original camp was founded in 1917), White Iron Beach Resort is a historic tourist destination with unique access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and a storied past that includes fur trading, mining for iron ore and the native Ojibwe culture. We (Kerry and Sandy Davis) bought the property 24 years ago, having enjoyed similar resorts during our own family vacations.
