Cabin 1 at Breezy Point Resort in the Park Rapids area was newly renovated in 2918 with granite countertops, new appliances and updated furniture and finishes. This comfortable two-story cabin enjoys a scenic location at the south end of Straight Lake.
At Cabin 1, guests have the run of a beautifully decorated, cozy Up North getaway with four bedrooms and three full baths — plenty of room for large groups or multiple families to settle in and enjoy an extended weekend. The great room has tall ceilings supported by heavy timber beams and a large stone hearth that gives this modern home in Osage, MN, a fun, rustic feel. The main living area has great windows that fill the space with natural light. This space also opens out onto a large deck with a Weber gas grill and outdoor dining space.
The private bedrooms at Cabin 1 have pillow-top mattresses and open storage space for clothes so you can unpack and make yourself at home. On the lower level, you can find another large recreation area with a futon, a card table and a second refrigerator. The rec room also opens out to the yard, which is an easy walking distance to the beach.
Sleeping arrangements: On the lower level bedroom one has two extra-long twin beds. Bedroom two has one full-sized bed and one twin. On the ground level, both bedrooms have a queen-sized bed. There is also a futon bed in the living area on both levels.
While this cabin is open year-round, the main level can be rented separately during the spring, fall and winter with the lower level closed off. Please contact us to inquire about rates for the main level only.
Breezy Point is a scenic and exciting place to stay in northern Minnesota during all seasons of the year. We have wonderful resort amenities for guests to use, such as a clean sandy beach, a collection of kayaks and canoes, swimming rafts, hydrobikes, paddle boats and power paddlers, shared areas to host a large campfire gathering, a private dock with great fishing on Straight Lake, a boat ramp, outdoor basketball courts, pool table, ping pong, football table and carpet ball table, swing sets, horseshoes, a playground, a play fort, a sandbox and board games.
Guests can also enjoy the convenience of on-site gas and bait sales, motor rentals, boat and pontoon rentals, guided fishing trips and laundry facilities.
Breezy Point Resort is located within an easy 20-minute drive of tons of natural sights and family attractions in the Park Rapids area. Some of our favorites include Itasca State Park, the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, the Smoky Hills and Two Inlets state forests, the Heartland Bike Trail, horseback riding, golf courses, tennis courts, bowling, a spa, art, craft and antique shops, and of course fine dining and super clubs.

Cabin 1 offers a nightly rate of $383.00 during the spring, fall and winter.
Weekly rates vary based on time of year:
May 1 - May 26 = $1775.00/week
May 26 - June 9 = $2280.00/week
June 9 - June 16 = $2815.00/week
June 16 - Aug. 18 = $3925.00/week
Aug. 18 - Aug. 25 = $3295.00/week
Aug. 25 - May 1 = $1915.00/week
A deposit of 50 percent of the rental price is required to reserve the cabin.
Rates are based on a capacity of 8 overnight guests. Additional guests will incur a fee of $85.00/week or $22.00/night. Day-only visitors may enjoy resort amenities for $10.00/day.
Check-in is at 3:00 pm; check-out is at 9:00 am.
Weekly rentals run Friday to Friday.

Just returned from a week family vacation at Breezy Point and we are already wanting to go back! The cabins are super clean and cozy, probably one of the nicest, cleanest Resorts I've ever stayed in. The whole family is very nice and accomdating, they make you feel at home. The kids loved fishing off the dock and playing at the nice playground. We loved sitting around the nightly campfires and getting to know everybody at the resort. They have a very nice Beach area with every single water toy you can think of kayaks, canoes, and hydrobikes. I highly recommend Breezy Point for a family vacation or just a peaceful getaway! We stayed at Breezy Point for the first time and definitely plan to come back. Several friends recommended BP so we took their advice and so glad we did! The staff is incredibly friendly while also very professional. We stayed in cabin 7 and were very impressed - it is a beautiful cabin, very clean and up to date. We rented a boat and did a lot of fishing- Cyrus was very helpful and gave us some tips on where/when to fish what we were looking for. A+ for atmosphere! The cabins are comfortable and beautiful, done in an up-north theme. Felt like home and didn't want to leave. Everything you could want is here. Spent many hours at the nightly campfire conversing with the other guests staying at the resort-the time just flew! Close proximity to Itasca State Park, Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, and Park Rapids. Alice, Cyrus, and Ezra-very accomodating, friendly, and easy to talk to.
