Cabin 3 at Breezy Point Resort on Straight Lake was newly built in 2007 in a traditional log-cabin style with heavy timbers and a beautiful, covered front porch. The cabin is located near the water on the camp road that leads down to the beach, as well as connecting this home to all of the great resort amenities Breezy Point has to offer.
Cabin 3 is a spacious three-level home built into the hillside with lake views from every single room. The great room on the main level has one of the largest picture windows from a high vantage point, in addition to comfortable reading chairs and a cozy stone fireplace. The main level has a back balcony that overlooks the water, complete with a picnic table and grill, while the lower level walks out to a set of stairs leading to the lake.
This home is equipped with every modern convenience, including wireless internet, air conditioning, a dishwasher, a trash compactor and new kitchen appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans and table settings for 15. The open-concept dining area has a long table and seating for eight, plus extra seating at the breakfast counter.
Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom is equipped with a queen-sized bed. This room also features a private deck and a whirlpool for two. The lower level has two bedrooms, each equipped with a queen-sized bed and one with an additional extra-long twin. These rooms also have their own vanities. The upper level loft includes a futon, as does the great room and the lower-level family room.
Cabin 3’s defining feature is both it’s excellent view and natural light, and the unique upper-level loft. The loft serves as a semi-private bedroom for up to two overnight guests with its own full bath, a reading chair, and a window seat with a great view of the lake.
Our resort grounds are beautiful year-round, and provide an exciting northern Minnesota getaway in all four seasons. Our unique guest amenities include onsite gas and bait sales, motor rentals, boat and pontoon rentals, guided fishing trips and laundry facilities.
We also have extensive onsite recreation opportunities, including a clean sandy beach, a collection of kayaks and canoes, swimming rafts, hydrobikes, paddle boats and power paddlers, shared areas to host a large campfire gathering, a private dock with great fishing on Straight Lake, a boat ramp, outdoor basketball courts, pool table, ping pong, football table and carpet ball table, swing sets, horseshoes, a playground, a play fort, a sandbox and board games.
Our Straight Lake cabins are located just 20 minutes from scenic natural features and entertainments in the Osage and greater Park Rapids area. Some of our favorites include Itasca State Park, the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, the Smoky Hills and Two Inlets state forests, the Heartland Bike Trail, horseback riding, golf courses, tennis courts, bowling, a spa, art, craft and antique shops, and of course fine dining and super clubs.

Cabin 3 offers a nightly rate of $374.00 during the spring, fall and winter.
Weekly rates vary based on time of year:
May 1 - May 26 = $1765.00/week
May 26 - June 9 = $2245.00/week
June 9 - June 16 = $2785.00/week
June 16 - Aug. 18 = $3875.00/week
Aug. 18 - Aug. 25 = $3240.00/week
Aug. 25 - May 1 = $1870.00/week
A deposit of 50 percent of the rental price is required to reserve the cabin.
Rates are based on a capacity of 6 overnight guests. Additional guests will incur a fee of $85.00/week or $22.00/night. Day-only visitors may enjoy resort amenities for $10.00/day.
Check-in is at 3:00 pm; check-out is at 9:00 am.
Weekly rentals run Friday to Friday.

Just returned from a week family vacation at Breezy Point and we are already wanting to go back! The cabins are super clean and cozy, probably one of the nicest, cleanest Resorts I've ever stayed in. The whole family is very nice and accomdating, they make you feel at home. The kids loved fishing off the dock and playing at the nice playground. We loved sitting around the nightly campfires and getting to know everybody at the resort. They have a very nice Beach area with every single water toy you can think of kayaks, canoes, and hydrobikes. I highly recommend Breezy Point for a family vacation or just a peaceful getaway! We stayed at Breezy Point for the first time and definitely plan to come back. Several friends recommended BP so we took their advice and so glad we did! The staff is incredibly friendly while also very professional. We stayed in cabin 7 and were very impressed - it is a beautiful cabin, very clean and up to date. We rented a boat and did a lot of fishing- Cyrus was very helpful and gave us some tips on where/when to fish what we were looking for. A+ for atmosphere! The cabins are comfortable and beautiful, done in an up-north theme. Felt like home and didn't want to leave. Everything you could want is here. Spent many hours at the nightly campfire conversing with the other guests staying at the resort-the time just flew! Close proximity to Itasca State Park, Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, and Park Rapids. Alice, Cyrus, and Ezra-very accomodating, friendly, and easy to talk to.
