Cabin 7 — and its close neighbor Cabin 8 — are an ideal set up for large groups or multiple families looking to enjoy the scenic, year-round Breezy Point Resort on Straight Lake together. These luxury homes are in close quarters, but fully separated with private entrances. These cabins are brimming with up-north character, from the heavy timbers to the custom-built staircase and mantle.
Cabin 7 is the smaller of the two cabins, with three bedrooms and two full baths. This comfortable vacation home is plenty for one family, and can accommodate up to 11 overnight guests all by itself. Cabin 7 also has some of the best views at Breezy Point, situated just 50 feet from the lake. The main level of this cabin opens onto a lake-facing deck with a Weber gas grill for outdoor dining.
The fully equipped, modern kitchen at Cabin 7 includes an oven and stove top, a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, a trash compactor, pots and pans and cooking utensils, and place settings for up to 13 dinner guests. The main living area also includes the large sitting room, with a fireplace and excellent reading chairs.
Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom at Cabin 7 is located on the main level and is equipped with a queen-sized bed. It also has a connected master bath with a whirlpool tub for two. Two other bedrooms are furnished with a queen-sized bed in one and a queen and a twin in the other. There is also a futon in the main living area and two single chair beds on the upper level that work well for children.
This home has a unique split-level set up that allows natural light to flood in from the large windows on the lake-facing side of the house and fill the shared living spaces. A vaulted ceiling over the sitting area and hearth gives at atmosphere of great space, supported by custom heavy timber beams. There is also a unique wood-construction staircase that creates interest for the eye on the lower level.
The beautiful, clean, sandy beach front at Breezy Point Resort is the glory of summer, with onsite pontoon, fishing boat and motor rentals, a boat ramp, private docks and lots of other fun water toys — we have a collection of kayaks and canoes, swimming rafts, hydrobikes, paddle boats and power paddlers that make everyday on Straight Lake an adventure for all ages. We also offer guided fishing experiences and onsite gas and bait sales.
Other unique resort amenities include our outdoor basketball courts, a playground, a play fort, a sandbox, ping pong, a pool table, a football table, a carpet ball table, swing sets and board games. Our resort grounds are scenic year-round and we are equipped with all-season entertainment. Straight Lake has excellent ice fishing, and we are located near some great ATV and snowmobiling trails.
We love our quintessential northern Minnesota location, and our guests take full advantage of the local restaurants and attractions. Some popular local sites and activities include: Itasca State Park, the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, the Smoky Hills and Two Inlets state forests, the Heartland Bike Trail, horseback riding, golf courses, tennis courts, bowling alleys, a local spa and several antique shops.

Cabin 7 offers a nightly rate of $314.00 during the spring, fall and winter.
Weekly rates vary based on time of year:
May 1 - May 28 = $1445.00/week
May 26 - June 9 = $1780.00/week
June 9 - June 16 = $2145.00/week
June 16 - Aug. 18 = $3055.00/week
Aug. 18 - Aug. 25 = $2695.00/week
Aug. 25 - May 1 = $1570.00/week
A deposit of 50 percent of the rental price is required to reserve the cabin.
Rates are based on a capacity of 6 overnight guests. Additional guests will incur a fee of $85.00/week or $22.00/night. Day-only visitors may enjoy resort amenities for $10.00/day.
Check-in is at 3:00 pm; check-out is at 9:00 am.
Weekly rentals run Friday to Friday.

Just returned from a week family vacation at Breezy Point and we are already wanting to go back! The cabins are super clean and cozy, probably one of the nicest, cleanest Resorts I've ever stayed in. The whole family is very nice and accomdating, they make you feel at home. The kids loved fishing off the dock and playing at the nice playground. We loved sitting around the nightly campfires and getting to know everybody at the resort. They have a very nice Beach area with every single water toy you can think of kayaks, canoes, and hydrobikes. I highly recommend Breezy Point for a family vacation or just a peaceful getaway! We stayed at Breezy Point for the first time and definitely plan to come back. Several friends recommended BP so we took their advice and so glad we did! The staff is incredibly friendly while also very professional. We stayed in cabin 7 and were very impressed - it is a beautiful cabin, very clean and up to date. We rented a boat and did a lot of fishing- Cyrus was very helpful and gave us some tips on where/when to fish what we were looking for. A+ for atmosphere! The cabins are comfortable and beautiful, done in an up-north theme. Felt like home and didn't want to leave. Everything you could want is here. Spent many hours at the nightly campfire conversing with the other guests staying at the resort-the time just flew! Close proximity to Itasca State Park, Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, and Park Rapids. Alice, Cyrus, and Ezra-very accomodating, friendly, and easy to talk to.
