Guides tip: September and October offer breath-taking fall color and giant slab Crappies school up. Cabin time here means enjoying a shorelunch - savor the fresh taste of fish cooked on a campfire. Before each days adventure begins, stop in at the resort's main lodge Aurora Room: Find snacks, pop, frozen pizza (& pizza oven) etc. Gas, oil, bait, tackle, clothing, gifts are at the Lodge Trading Post. Now you’re set for a day on or off the water.
A day trip to Voyageur's National Park must be on your bucket list. Hike trails that are only accessible by boat on the Kabetogama Peninsula. Explorers tip: Bring a pole to catch your shore lunch on one of the inner lakes. Take a guided canoe trip, kettle falls boat trip, paddle a 26 foot voyageur's canoe. For a different kind of lush green experience head to International Falls Country Club for some golfing.
If your cabin time includes dining out, you can go by car or boat to several restaurants. If you are bringing a boat, we have a free boat ramp located on-site and you get a free boat slip with cabin rental. Rent one of our 16’ or 18’ equipped fishing boats, or take the group out on a 21’ or 22’ pontoon boat.

50% deposit is required to hold a reservation and the remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to arrival. Additional persons over 2 years per cabin are $200 per person per week and $40 per person per day. Check in is at 4PM. Check out is at 9AM. $19 per day charge per pet (max. 2). Sorry no German Shephards, Dobermans, Rottweilers or Pit Bulls.
