Sunrise Shores in Palisade, MN, is a 1,400-square-foot “up north” vacation home with a private dock on Round Lake. This cabin sleeps four+, with three private bedrooms and one and-a-half baths on a quiet, dead-end road right on the water — and it’s dog-friendly!
This rental in Aitkin County is situated on a large, private, lakefront lot with mature trees for shade and plenty of space for yard games & bonfires. To the back of the house, the property includes 150 feet of lake shore, with 2 large decks for sunning and tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Round Lake is known for it's 16ft clarity and fishing. You can see the bottom of the lake- crystal clear water!
Inside, Sunrise Shores is clean and quaintly decorated with homey touches. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen, a dining room with seating for six, and a large living room with plenty of comfortable seating, and a home entertainment system. In the 4-season porch you can enjoy reading a book or have the kids hang out. Downstairs there is a foosball table and and a table to play games. WI-FI now available!
Sleeping arrangements: All 3 bedrooms at Sunrise Shores are furnished with a queen-sized bed. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the downstairs family room.

Unique Features
Our guests love to sit and enjoy the furnished four-season porch at Sunrise Shores lakeside cabin, with comfortable seats and great views. We provide sun lounge chairs on the large deck, and have recently expanded with a ground-level patio. We provide some water sports gear, including a few floating devices and a canoe with four life jackets & 2 kayaks. This home also has a basement-level recreation with a walk-out to the patio, complete with a DVR and game table, and a collection of puzzles, dice and cards.
There are no neighbors on one side of the lot so it is very private. explore. Many people take long walks or head over by boat to the "sandy beach" is and hang out for the day. This is a shallow part of the lake and ALL SAND so kids love it and adults can relax!

Guests at our Sunrise Shores cabin have exclusive access to the 650-acre Round Lake. This lake offers excellent clarity and fishing, and is great for swimming or exploring by canoe. Our private dock is available for mooring — feel free to bring your own boat for water skiing or wakeboarding. We are just fifteen minutes north of Aitkin, MN, and the neighboring Esquagamah and Waukenabo Lakes.
Our location in Palisade also offers access to a number of local golf courses, including Minnesota National-McGregor, Emily Greens, Cuyuna Rolling Hills and Quadna Mountain-Hill City. This home offers an exciting outdoor adventure experience year-round, with an entrance to snowmobiling and four-wheeling trails nearby. We have plenty of space onsite to park extra vehicles and trailers. Close drive to a Canoe/Kayak adventure. Canoe is included in the rental.
One of our favorite evening activities at Sunrise Shores is just to relax by the water’s edge around a bonfire and enjoy roasted marshmallows and the call of the loons. Our yard and deck are also a great place to read a book and enjoy a variety of fall color. The cabin is only a two-hour drive from the Twin Cities and the Mall of America.

We love cabin life! We bought this cabin in 2017 and wanted to share the beauty and memories with others. This lake is perfect for a retreat — there is wildlife (loons, eagles and deer), quality fishing and clear water to 16 feet.. North Round Lake is a comfortable lake for a quiet morning kayak ride or a midday swim, or — perhaps best of all — a leisurely cruise or walk to end an enjoyable day. We also enjoy gorgeous sunrises over the water! Previous renters love the quiet, large lot. Come and enjoy!
