Hello and welcome from those of us at Birchwood Resort on Lake Kabetogama! We hope you enjoy your stay with us. At Birchwood Resort, we have six luxurious rental cabins that are more like vacation homes. Each is equipped with a kitchen, bathrooms, and cozy sleeping arrangements. They also all have DIRECTV and wifi, so you can stay connected! Many of them include a porch, perfect for taking in the waterfront view! Some cabins even have a washer and dryer set, so you can pack light if you would like! Birchwood Resort also has nine RV hookup sites with water and power, so feel free to camp as well.
We have a small beach, but it is cozy and sandy. Boat rentals are available to get out and spend some time on the water. In the summer heat, it's so refreshing and relaxing to take a paddle on the lake! We also have a guide service for those who may need it. No matter how you choose to spend your days here, you're going to have a great time filled with adventure!
Some people dread camping because they don't want to give up luxuries like television and Internet service. However, Birchwood Resort offers both cable TV and wireless internet, so you'll never have to fear being disconnected! You can take pictures of the beautiful landscapes and upload them as soon as you get back to the cabin to remember your wonderful memories at Kabetogama.
Our resort is located on Lake Kabetogama, which is part of the magnificent Voyageurs State Park. Onsite, you'll enjoy recreation and amenities such as:

If you choose to visit Voyageurs, you're sure to have a great time. Perhaps you can take a guided boat tour of the park, or rent your own boat and go fishing. Or maybe you prefer to see the park on foot? Check out one of the many hiking trails, such as the Sullivan Bay trail or Echo Bay Trail. Echo Bay is popular with birdwatchers, due to the amount of warblers and woodpeckers that can be seen.
Astronomy lovers will be pleased to find out how clear the sky is in Voyageurs National Park. This is a great place to brush up on your constellation knowledge, or even try to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis. Don't forget to look up!
