All of us at Harmony Beach Resort can't wait to meet you! With 12 cabins, 4 villas, and a lodge for large groups, there are plenty of accommodations for you to choose from. All of our cabins have fully equipped kitchens and full bathrooms. They are all beautifully furnished with plenty of cozy sleeping arrangements and have a gorgeous view of the lake. Imagine waking up to the sound of water on the shore, birds chirping around you. That's what's in store at Harmony Beach!
Of course, part of the fun of a lake vacation is being on the water! Harmony Beach has several kinds of boats available for rental, ensuring you have the best vacation possible. Fishing is grand on Lake Kabetogama, as the water is filled with crappies, walleye, bass, and more! Even if you don't like to fish, being on the water can be incredibly relaxing. Just you, your loved ones, and the open water...what could be better?!
If you've caught a nice fish, we offer cleaning and packaging services for your catch. We also sell bait and gas in case the need arises. When your day on the water is done, make sure to check out the selection of books, DVDs, and games at the resort's office. That's the perfect ending to a day full of adventure.
If you're planning on fishing and you are unfamiliar with Lake Kabetogama, it is highly recommended that you book a tour with our guide, Travis Carlson. He is an expert fisherman who knows the best times and techniques to fish in our beautiful lake. Once you've learned from the best, take your skills for a whirl on your own! You'll be glad you did.

If you're done relaxing at Harmony Beach and wish to explore further, make sure to check out Voyageurs National Park. Within the park is the beautiful Ellsworth Rock Gardens, where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Hikers will appreciate the many trails to choose from in the park, and birdwatchers can find many species that live here. Of course, fishing is always a great time too!
Night sky enthusiasts will appreciate the many places to stargaze in Voyageurs National Park. You can brush up on your constellation knowledge or try to catch a shooting star. Some lucky folks may even get to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. Make sure you keep looking up!

$25 per day for each additional person. Cash, checks and (credit cards - 3.5% fee). A deposit of $350 is required. A deposit of $200 is required for boat rentals. Additional boat slips are $25 daily/$150 weekly (if available).
The pet fee is $25 daily/$175 weekly per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per cabin. Smoke outside is allowed.
This was our first time at the resort. Nothing but good to say. The owners were wonderful the whole time. You could not ask for more from the dock guys. Always kind and there to help!! Our cabin was very clean and all you could ask for. It was great. Thank you to all. Bill and Kathleen Sicard
I've been to dozens of resorts both in Ontario, Wisconsin and Minnesota in my 60 yrs. This is far and away the best. The dock men are outstanding. Help you dock and leave, clean, label and bag your fish. The owners are helpful and friendly. The cabins are stocked with everything from a pizza cutter to ice cube trays to floor fans. And clean...very clean. Bait on site. We were in the Balsam cabin. Deck, patio furniture, overlooking the lake. You'll have no problem eating fish most everyday. And if not, there is the Rocky Ledge bar just down the road-excellent food. We already booked for next year
My brother-in-law, Mike, and I continue the tradition of his family's annual fishing trip to Harmony Beach (over 50 years). In the past, we have stayed in the cabins and the villas. This year we stayed in the lodge. The accommodations have always been good, but they have vastly improved and are noticeably better since Jeff and Sheri Krueger purchased the resort a number of years ago, and updated the cabins. All of the living areas are very clean and well equipped.
Stayed in a cabin that was perfect with all the amenities right on the water! The cabin as well as the entire resort was very well maintained and clean. Even though we weren't fishing, we watched the dock service every morning and evening...and it was over the top! Jeff, the owner, was always there with a smile. We rented a boat for a day from them and it also was perfect.
We just ended our first visit to the Harmony Beach Resort and couldn't have had a better time.The lake is beautiful! We enjoyed our days fishing and exploring the lake. We stayed in a cabin right on the water. It had everything we needed. What really made our stay enjoyable, though, was the people. Owners Jeff and Shari were very welcoming. The dock guys, Nolan and Chandler, were very personable and efficient. When we go to a new vacation spot, one of the things we hope to find is a place where we can relax and meet new people. Harmony Beach exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back next year.
It was our first time at Voyageurs National Park. My wife and I stayed in the Otter Cabin the first week of June for our vacation. Everything about our stay was excellent! Jeff and Shari were amazing hosts and took care of all of our needs. The cabin was clean, so cute, warm and comfortable and the view of the lake was spectacular. They really bend over backwards to see that your stay is the best. Spent a wonderful week fishing and relaxing in one of the most beautiful spots in the country.
Clean, comfortable hard working owners and guest. Would stay again! Very helpful, and welcoming. Updating cabin and on going effort to improve things on the grounds. Protected harbor is key with winds primarily from northwest. Boat is well cared for.
