Welcome to Herseth's Tomahawk Resort! We're happy to have you here. Take your pick of one of our nine waterfront cabins for your Lake Kabetogama vacation. Each of the rental lodges is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, satellite TV, and WiFi, so you don't have to give up the luxuries of home to enjoy the lake.
When visiting, be sure to check out our expansive beach; Tomahawk is the only beachfront resort on the lake! Take a dip in the cool water, play a casual game of volleyball, or have a picnic by the fire pit. We even have a playground on the beach for the kids. If you'd like to get out on the water, check out our boat rentals! We also offer scenic boat tours of the lake.
Fishers will love Tomahawk Resort. All of our rental boats are equipped for fishing with minnow buckets and nets, and bait is available dockside. Best of all, we offer a fish cleaning service, so anything you catch will have the bones removed and then will be filleted, wrapped, and frozen. You can then grill it up and enjoy a nice lakeside picnic. What could be better?
Herseth's Tomahawk Resort is the only beachfront resort on Lake Kabetogama. We have the largest sandy beach on the lake! Take advantage of our free canoe and kayak boat rentals, and get out on the water. When you come back, relax on the beach and have a picnic around the firepit. We even have a floating waterpark! Your days will be full of adventure at Tomahawk.

If you would like to venture beyond the resort, make sure to explore the beautiful Voyageurs National Park. Voyageurs is known for its clear skies and excellent hiking trails. You can take a leisurely stroll through Beaver Pond Overlook Trail, or perhaps try your hand at something more challenging like the Kab-Ash trail. Either way, be sure to keep your eye out for birds along the way!
When night falls, test your knowledge of the constellations with some stargazing. The clear skies at Voyageurs are well known, and you can even see planets and shooting stars at times. In fact, Voyageurs is known for being one of the only places in the lower United States to view the magnificent Aurora Borealis. Also known as the Northern Lights, this spectacular light show is sure to be the star of your vacation.

Each additional person is $25.00 per day or $125.00 per week.
Minnesota sales tax is 7.375% and Lodging tax is 3%.
One dock space is included in the cabin rate, additional dock space is $10.00 each day per boat.
Check out is before 9:00 am and check in is after 2:00 pm
We rent weekly Saturday to Saturday. Daily reservations accepted if space permits. A $350.00 deposit is required to hold a cabin. Deposit is refundable only if replacement is secured. The pet fee is $125.00 per week.
