We have a protected harbor at our resort, so fishing is a breeze. We offer canoes, paddle boards, and kayaks for guest use as well. Swing by the office to grab some ice or fuel, and you'll be on your way! If you catch a big one, make sure to utilize our on-site fish cleaning house. When you get back to the cabin, you can grill it up on your cabin's propane grill.

If you'd like to venture beyond the resort, make sure to explore Voyageurs National Park! This beautiful park is well known for its hiking opportunities and many species of birds. In fact, Voyageurs is home to approximately 95 species of birds! Make sure to bring binoculars, because you're not going to want to miss them. Some of the best trails for bird watching include Anderson Bay and Dryweed Island.
When night falls, turn your gaze upwards, because Voyageurs is also known for being one of the only places in the lower United States where you can view the magnificent Aurora Borealis. Even if you do not get the chance to glimpse it, the park's clear skies give you a perfect opportunity to identify some constellations. When at Pine Tree Cove I have no idea what the rest of the family does for the day. We usually take up three cabins. I fish in the boat for several hours then eat ,fish from the dock, eat back to the boat, eat back to the dock go to bed and repeat the next morning. I wouldn't trade my week up there for anything,the people are great, everyone has fun, what more is there to say. Gene Paulson
