Here at Sandy Point Lodge and Resort, we aim to be your home away from home! With eleven cozy cabins to choose from, you're sure to find a suitable place for the whole family. All of our rentals offer different features, so you'll find something perfect for your situation! They all have cozy sleeping arrangements and A/C units. Many have kitchens, some of which have been recently remodeled, and all are located on our beautiful Lake Kabetogama! No matter which cabin you decide to choose, you'll have a cozy place to rest your head and relax on your Minnesota vacation.
Of course, when vacationing on the lake, you're sure to want to get out on the water! We offer several types of boats for rental, including pontoons and fishing boats. We also have kayaks and canoes free for guest use. If you've never operated a boat before, that's okay! We are happy to recommend a guided tour for you. This is a great way to enjoy the water without any added stress. If boating isn't your thing, you can always relax on the beach or in our lodge. We even have a sauna! No matter how you spend your day, you'll have a blast at Sandy Point.
When you're not on the beautiful waters of Lake Kabetogama, you can relax at our on-site lodge. Our lodge has WiFi, dining opportunities, and cozy rooms to stay in as an alternative to our cabins. All lodge rooms come equipped with beds, a bathroom, microwave/mini-fridge, and satellite TV. No matter if you choose a lodge room or a classic cabin, you'll have a great time!

If you would like to explore even more of our beautiful Minnesota landscape, make sure to check out Voyageurs National Park. This lovely national park is well known for hiking, birdwatching, and fishing opportunities. Anglers will be delighted by the amount of bass, walleye, and crappies in the lake. Bird enthusiasts should be sure to pack binoculars because Voyageurs is home to approximately 95 bird species.
When night falls, turn your gaze to the horizon to view the park's stunningly clear skies. You'll easily find a spot to stargaze so you can brush up on your constellation knowledge. Lucky guests may even get a chance to glimpse the Northern Lights! And when you're ready to rest your head, Sandy Point Lodge and Resort will be waiting for you to return.

The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is accommodating and friendly. They were outstanding! There is easy access to the water and we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the serene lake. Lodge Room 1 was comfortable, clean and cozy with a great view of the lake.
